BioGlenn Ballantyne performed in his first classical piano recital at 4 years old and built his first mountain campfire under his dad’s direction. Throughout middle school, Glenn played assemblies as a one man band – piano, trap drum set and vocals and went on his first overnight hiking trip without adult supervision. In high school, Glenn’s 7-piece band performed original and classic rock songs for Proms and Pep Assemblies and mastered the skill of snow camping in February on top of Greenhorn Mountain. In college, while leading outdoor adventures for youth at summer camps, Glenn began his professional music career with his songs being recorded by, The Brady Bunch, The Ovations, Jackie DeShannon, Jim Nabors, Bobby Vinton, the DeFranco Family, etc. Today, in Colorado, Glenn writes and records music and produces television documentaries. His focus has narrowed to two heartfelt subject matters, 1. People who are into yoga as a lifestyle of physical health, family harmony, and spiritual joy, and 2. Adults helping children connect to nature. Before and after his daily work schedule Glenn enjoys his expanding relationship with nature (with his wife, Marcee), being a student in Marcee’s yoga classes and teaching meditation classes at Fountain of Health Yoga Studio.
